Top Hay Fever Hacks

This summer, you may be thinking “are pollen allergies contagious”? Luckily, seasonal allergy symptoms such as itchy eyes, a runny nose and even a tickly cough cannot be passed from person to person – so they’re not contagious. However, if you’re suffering from those seasonal allergy symptoms, it can sometimes mean you’re spreading germs without even realizing.

For instance, when pollen count is highest, many symptoms make it tricky not to touch your face – and doing things like blowing your nose, rubbing eyes, or brushing hair out of your face can pass germs to your hands. And just think how many times a day you touch other items with your hands.

That’s why it’s crucial to make sure you’re being as hygienic as possible if you’re suffering from seasonal allergies this summer.
